Strawberry Pretzel Pie

This delicious Strawberry Pretzel Pie by Taste of Home is the perfect dessert for warm days spent with family and friends.

Prep time: 45 minutes

Refrigerating time: 4 to 6 hours

Serves: 16


What you’ll need:

  • 4 cups of miniature pretzels

  • 6 tablespoons of melted butter

  • ¼ cup of sugar

  • ¾ cups of boiling water

  • 1 pack of strawberry gelatin

  • ¼ cup of lemon juice

  • 1 pound of fresh strawberries

  • 2 cups of heavy whipping cream

  • 1 jar of marshmallow crème

  • 2/3 cups of whipped cream cheese

  • 2/3 cups of sweetened condensed milk

What you’ll need to do:

  • Chop up your pretzels. Add chopped pretzels, melted butter and sugar to the food processor and pulse until smoothly combined.

  • Reserve 1/3 of the pretzel mixture for the topping.

  • Press remaining mixture to the bottom of a greased pan and refrigerate for 30 minutes.

  • In a separate bowl, add boiling water to the strawberry gelatine and stir until completely dissolved.

  • Slowly stir in lemon juice and refrigerate for 30 minutes, stirring occasionally.

  • Chop up half of the strawberries and slice the other half. Keep sliced strawberries for the topping.

  • In a separate bowl, beat 1 cup of heavy cream until it stiffens.

  • Beat marshmallow crème, cream cheese and sweetened condensed milk into the cooled down gelatine and lemon juice mixture until blended.

  • Gently fold in chopped strawberries and whipped cream.

  • Pour into pretzel mixture crust, cover, and refrigerate for 4 to 6 hours, or until nice and firm.

  • Beat the remaining cup of whipped cream and top over pie with the remaining pretzel mixture.
