Bill Granger’s Crab and Chili Linguine

In the mood for some delicious Seafood pasta with a chili bite to it?
With just 4 simple steps, Bill Granger’s Crab and Chili linguine is quick and easy to make for a weeknight dinner with the family.

What You Need:

  • 500g Linguine

  • ½ cup of olive oil (125ml)

  • 4 tablespoons of unsalted butter

  • 2 eschalot onions, finely chopped

  • 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped

  • 2 red chilies, finely chopped

  • 400g spanner crab meat

  • 1 lemon, squeezed for juice

  • 1 cup of parsley, finely chopped

  • 2 teaspoons of chili flakes


Method:

  • Cook the linguine in water until soft. Once cooked, drain, leaving over half a cup of the cooking water.

  • While your linguine cooks, heat your olive oil & butter in a large frying pan and cook your onions, garlic and red chilies until slightly soft. Add the cooked linguine and reserved water to this and toss together.

  • Add the crab meat. Gently add the lemon juice as you stir. Lastly, add half of the parsley and season to taste.

  • Once cooked, serve in bowls and sprinkle the remaining parsley, chilli flakes and freshly ground black pepper.


Dinner has been served.
